01What this is

A 12-week transformation challenge across the entire One Percent community. Every entrant competes head to head, September 7 through November 29. One winner, announced by video to the whole community on December 7 with the podium's before-and-afters on screen.

This is not a "who's the leanest" contest. It is judged on the biggest change relative to your starting point and your phase. The guy 40 pounds out and the guy who's nearly shredded have the same shot. So does the client mid-way through metabolic priming — more on that in Section 03, because it's the part that makes this fair.

03Scoring — 100 points, half math, half judged

Your final score is out of 100: 50 Execution points you earn week by week in plain arithmetic on a public leaderboard, and 50 Transformation points awarded by a blind judging panel in December. Highest combined total wins. Ties break on Execution points, then a head-to-head panel vote.

Execution Score — 50 points, live and public

Fourteen points are available every week, for 12 weeks (168 total, scaled to 50). Every point is a yes/no fact anyone can verify:

ComponentHow you earn itMax/week
Nutrition1 point per day. A day counts when protein, carbs, AND fats each land within ±5 grams of your targets, logged same-day (logs complete by 10am the next morning — no back-filling).7
TrainingYour scheduled challenge-program sessions, checked off in Trainerize. All sessions completed = 3 · missed one = 2 · missed two = 1 · more = 0.3
Check-ins1 point each, two per week. A check-in submitted the next day still counts. Later than that is zero.2
Weekly winPost your win for the week in the challenge group.1
SpotlightSubmit a spotlight entry — current photo plus a few sentences on your phase. Points are for submitting, not for being featured.1
Weekly maximum14

Yes, ±5 grams on all three macros is brutal. That's the point — perfect days should be rare, and rare is what separates the 1% of the 1%.

Transformation Score — 50 points, judged blind in December

Here's how this stays fair when every client is in a different phase of metabolic priming:

Why you can trust the result

Half the score is public arithmetic updated daily — you can check it yourself all quarter. Phase plans are sealed before day one. Judging is anonymous, with a conflict rule. After the winners are announced, every score and the full rubric get published, and any judgment call the commissioner makes during the challenge is posted to the group in writing when it happens. There is nothing hidden anywhere in this system.

04The team race

Separate, parallel competition: every coach's entrants form that coach's team. Team score is the average Execution Score of the team's members (average, not total — small teams compete evenly with big ones). Team standings run on the same leaderboard. The coach of the champion, and the coach of the winning team, take the title with them.

07Injuries & life events

If you get injured or life detonates: continue modified (the panel judges holistically — a transformation through adversity reads as exactly that), or step out of the challenge and keep your full 12 weeks of coaching. A documented medical event that ends participation in the first 14 days earns a one-time deferral of your entry to the next challenge.

08Disqualification

Straight talk: could someone type clean macro logs they didn't eat? Sure. They'd be renting leaderboard points they have to pay back in December, when the blind panel scores what the camera sees against what the logs claim. The system is built so cheating buys you embarrassment, not prizes.

09Prizes & decisions

The 1% of the 1% is operated by The One Percent for its clients. Entrants must be 18 or older. Entry fees purchase coaching services delivered regardless of contest placement and are non-refundable except as stated in Section 07. Judging decisions are final. Void where prohibited. Questions: your coach, or Nick directly.
